Our class created a map of Pennsylvania and its surrounding states on the classroom floor.  Students explained that making this map was: a)instructional because they were able to study it during the day and it was visible, b)fun because they got to work together with different colored tape while thinking creatively, c) interesting because it was a new way of doing a classroom project, and d) important because the students are learning about Pennsylvania in Social Studies this year.
