MacMillan McGraw-Hill Language/Language Arts Program - Our new reading program's web site is chock  full of interesting information about reading, writing, listening, speaking, and thinking.  The Macmillan McGraw Hill Reading Program is used in grades kindergarten through six. Reading and writing skills are developed as part of an integrated approach to the communication arts. Copper Beech enjoys the services of reading specialists who work with students and teachers to promote student success in reading and writing.
 

Everyday Math- Provides a detailed description of the Everyday Math program, gives resources, and also provides information about manipulatives.  The University of Chicago School Mathematics Project, Everyday Mathematics, is used for mathematics instruction in grades kindergarten through six. This program is among the best of the new generation of mathematics programs developed to address the standards and curriculum guidelines established by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.

MacMillan McGraw-Hill Social Studies Program - Our new Social Studies web site has a multitude of activities to help parents and students 'tune' in to classroom activities, be sure to check it out. The Macmillan McGraw Hill Social Studies program is a textbook based program that offers instruction in culture, civics, economics, geography, and history. It focuses on people and places from across Pennsylvania, the United States, and the World.

STC Science Kits- Provides information about learning through the STC program, benefits of the program and correlations to national science standards.  The Science and Technology for Children Program, developed by the National Science Resource Center at the Smithsonian with the support of the National Science Foundation, is used in grades one through six. Kindergarten will use curriculum developed by FOSS. These hands-on science programs are articulated with the national science standards and Project 2061 standards

Health Promotion Wave Program - is an interactive, skill-based, comprehensive curriculum for students in grades PK-12. It follows CDC guidelines, is research based, follows current trends in education, and has been proven to be effective at changing the attitudes and behaviors of students participating in the program.  HPW's website has a vast array of resources for students and parents.
