  • Doggone Good Readers - Abington Free Library
    Children in grades 1-5 are invited to read aloud in small groups to registered therapy dogs on three Saturdays--February 4, March 4, and April 1, 2017. Children may sign up for one of two sessions--10:15-10:45 a.m. or 11:00-11:30 a.m.--but do not have to attend all three Saturdays. Registration begins Tuesday, January 17. Children may bring their own books to read or choose from a selection provided by the library. Great for dog lovers who want to practice reading in an exciting new way!

  • Dr. Seuss Magic Show
    On Feb. 27 the Roslyn Library is having a Dr. Seuss Magic Show! Join the fun when Tom McDonnell will be performing with his live bunny! Tom incorporates his magic with many of Dr. Seuss's books such as Green Eggs and Ham, Dr. Seuss's ABC and Fox in Socks. This jam-packed children's program combines magic, educational content, comedy, music, a rabbit and audience participation. Ages 2-8. Registration begins Feb. 6.
