  • 2018 Double Play Baseball & Softball Camp
    Join us for our 9th season at Abington. The staff at Double Play makes sure our campers learn baseball and softball skills in addition to sportsmanship, teamwork, and self-confidence. We guide the campers through the following activities, all taught at varying degrees of difficulty based on each individual player's skill levels:- Hitting Stations - Fielding Drills - Pitching Mechanics - Base Running Drills - Bunting Techniques - Skills Competitions - Daily Games - Awards Ceremony- See you there!

  • 2018 Summer Youth Meal Program
    The Township of Abington will offer a FREE lunch to any child between the ages of 1 and 18 at Crestmont Park located at 2500 Old Welsh Road. Meals will be distributed at the Crestmont Clubhouse Monday thru Friday between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

  • Abington Free Library - Summer Programs for Children
    Abington Free Library and Roslyn Branch Library invite children in kindergarten through entering grade six to participate in Summer Quest, an exciting new summer learning program. Each child will receive a reading/activity log that can be used to earn prizes and a free book. The libraries also offer a read-to-me program for preschoolers through entering kindergarten.   • Briar Bush Nature Center - Family Nature Night
    Briar Bush Nature Center's Family Nature Night program serves children with autism spectrum disorder or other sensory processing disorders. This program involves a fun night complete with light dinner, animal shows, and interactive stations geared toward children on the autism spectrum. As this is a family program, families and siblings are invited to attend alongside the children. Please see the attached flyer for more information about this free program.
