Dear Kindergarten Parents,

Often times parents do not know what items to send with their child on the first day of kindergarten.

We suggest these school supplies for kindergarten:

• Backpack or schoolbag, labeled with child’s name

• One folder for transporting papers to and from school

To be kept in the child’s classroom:

• Pencils (one dozen)

• Eraser

• Crayons – non-toxic (not fluorescent, glitter, or specialty)

• Glue sticks – non-toxic (pkg. of 3-6)

• A box to keep everything in, labeled with child’s name

• A box of tissues

• Elmer’s Glue

• Colored pencils

• Colored markers

We hope that this list will help you to avoid the last minute rush when school begins in September.
