  Bus Transportation

Transportation is provided for students residing one and one-half miles or more from the school unless, in the opinion of the proper authorities, a major traffic hazard exists along the route traveled by the student.

Commencing in grade seven, a student identification card is issued to each student. This card serves as a means of required identification for those students who are eligible for bus transportation. The identification card must be carried daily. The identification card is the official bus pass which must be presented to gain admittance to the 3:00 p.m., 4:15 p.m., or 5:15 p.m. buses. Students who misbehave on the bus will be asked to surrender their pass to the driver and will be subject to disciplinary action. Students who lose their identification card may procure a one day temporary pass in the office prior to 2:30 p.m. or after 3:30 p.m. Temporary passes will be limited to three issuances per school year. After that time, a charge of $7.00 will be made for a replacement picture identification card.
