Mr. Robert Kelly

     Welcome to McKinley Elementary School!  As our Assistant Principal and Coordinator of Special Education, I am honored to be back this year to work alongside so many excellent teachers, administrators and support staff.  Along with our well-represented, dedicated PTO, McKinley Elementary is a community within a school.  Together, we make Abington one of the top 100 Best Places to Live in America.   With your continuing support, we can maintain an environment of learning and fun through our commitment to honesty, excellence, awareness, respect, and tolerance.  McKinley is truly a school with H.E.A.R.T.

             I am now in my twelfth year with the Abington School District.  In the past, I have taught math and science to at Abington Junior High School to students with Learning and Emotional Support needs.  Additionally, I have worked with a widely diverse population of children through my work with the School District of Philadelphia, The Ronald McDonald House, and the Children’s International Summer Villages.

Throughout my career, it has been my primary goal to provide a safe environment for our children to learn and grow. I believe in creating a learning environment that will invite every child to participate and feel comfortable as they engage in the learning process and progress through their educational career in the Abington School District.
