Hall of Fame
To reaffirm the excellence of the Abington educational experience, the Abington Senior High School Hall of Fame was inaugurated in 1988 at the Abington School District Centennial Celebration.
The Hall of Fame has two purposes:
- To honor graduates of Abington Senior High School who have distinguished themselves in their fields of personal and professional endeavor.
- To provide the current generation of students with vibrant examples of alumni who have benefited from an Abington education.
Award recipients demonstrate commitment to the current generation of Abington Senior High School students by returning to Abington at their own expense to spend the day with students and staff. They are inducted at an all-school assembly in the morning and are guest speakers in classes the rest of the day. That evening, new inductees are honored at a dinner to which family, friends, former awardees, and the entire Abington community are invited.
As you explore information relevant to the Hall of Fame, we hope that you will be encouraged to nominate Abington High School graduates who are worthy of induction into the Abington Senior High School Hall of Fame.
First in the alphabet. First in academics. First in athletics.
