SERVINCE LEARNING DAY: As you know, Abington High School implements the Pennsylvania Graduation Project through community participation. Our Service-Learning program, which is the focus of the Graduation Project, is infused into many areas of our high school curriculum and is recognized nationally as a Program of Distinction. I write to inform you that our annual Service Learning Day, an integral component of our service program, will be held for students in grades ten and eleven on Friday, May 25, 2012. Volunteers needed to help Ms. Carroll at Roslyn with a 3 week long project. Help needed 3 Wednesdays, May 16, 23rd, and 30th. Need to supply your own transportation – 3 Service Hours.

- SERVICE LEARNING DAY activities for next Friday, May 25th:Please remember that open toed shoes are not acceptable at any site. You must wear sturdy shoes or sneakers. Be on time for your events. You may not leave any site for lunch and you may not buy lunch, so plan on packing a little something to eat next Friday.
