ALL STUDENTS: BEFORE 8:00 a.m. ALL STUDENTS must enter the building through Cafeteria A or B and report directly to their first period class. After 8:00 a.m. students must enter the building via the main entrance at the flag pole, be prepared to show their student i.d., and report to the Attendance Office in A115 for a late pass. Berrios
STUDENT PARKING REGISTRATION: Parking registration forms are available in room A-104 FOR JUNIORS AND SENIORS ONLY. If you plan on parking in the student lot, you must have a 2017-2018 parking sticker displayed on your car or risk being ticketed by the Abington Police Department and/or suspension from school. Issuance of tickets to any student that does not have a current sticker displayed will begin shortly. NO PARKING IN THE STAFF PARKING LOT IS PERMITTED AT ANY TIME! READING OLYMPICS: Congratulations to the three Reading Olympics Teams that competed this week at North Penn High School. Abington brought home two blue ribbons and one green ribbon. A special shout out to the senior team who took home a blue ribbon each of the past three years. Congratulations students! Summers

THE GENDER SEXUALITY AWARENESS GROUP: The Gender Sexuality Awareness group will be hosting the Day of Silence, TODAY, April 27th. Sign-ups will be this week during all lunches in Cafe A. Jedlinski
ATTENTION STUDENTS: The 5K Ghost Gallop will be held at Abington Senior High Tuesday May 15, 2018 (no school that day) 6:30pm (check in starts at 5:30pm)
Abington Boys and Girls soccer team is hosting this 5K race/walk fundraiser on Tuesday May 15th (no school that day). Grab some friends and sign up for this spring 5K run. Awards for top 3 female and male finishers. First 200 participants will receive a free t-shirt. Sign up now! Event is rain or shine, so please dress appropriately.

WORK STUDY: Work study students are asked to stop by room 224 to pick up the Due Date Sheet for the 4th marking period. The dates are already in Skyward as well, so please be sure to get paperwork submitted on time in this LAST marking period .

SERVICE AWARDS FOR GRADES K-12, 2018: Deadline for submission: May 1, 2018
Students who are applying for Service Awards for 2018 must submit a COPY of their Service Log no later than May 1. This is a hard and fast deadline and late forms cannot be accepted. Students are permitted to estimate their May hours on the log sheet–please be sure that all information is completed on both sides of the form. Students ages 14-15 need a minimum of 30 hours to be eligible for an award. Students ages 16 and older need at least 50 hours to be eligible for an award. Copies of the log sheet can be submitted in the social studies office, S101A or to your social studies teacher. Petersen

ATTENTION JUNIORS: The junior prom is scheduled for April 28th. Students must have less than 10 total disciplinary obligations to be eligible to purchase a ticket for this great event. Disciplinary obligations are defined as b-lunches and/or detentions. Please take steps now to be eligible for participation in the junior prom. Fiorino
