  • Abington Free Library Summer Reading Program for Children
    Children in preschool through entering grade six are invited to participate in "Tails and Tales," Abington Free Library's online summer reading program. The online reading challenge will begin on Monday, June 21, and continue through Friday, August 13. Participants will read or be read to 20 minutes a day, keep track of their reading in an online reading log, and earn prizes along the way.   • eCLOSE Camp @ Home
    Students in grades 6-12 will become biomedical researchers, conducting experiments to combat cancer and diabetes right in their own homes.Each eCLOSE camper will receive a research station in the mail that is theirs to keep, with instruction provided by eCLOSE experts via Zoom. The program focuses on uncovering the creativity and health-related viewpoints of the students themselves, and integrates them into a growing community of scientists focused on reducing the burden of disease through diet.

Setting up a display or creating a good list for a summer display by May 24 earns service hours right now.
