  • Abington Free Library - Doggone Good Readers Program
    Children in grades 1-6 are invited to practice reading aloud in small groups to registered therapy dogs on three Saturdays--Oct. 6, Nov. 3, and Dec. 1, 2018--at Abington Free Library. Three reading sessions--10:15-10:45 a.m., 11:00-11:30 a.m., and 2:00-2:30 p.m.--will be offered on each date. Children may bring their own books or choose from a selection provided by the library. Online registration will begin at abingtonfreelibrary.org on Monday, Sept. 17.

    Briar Bush Nature Center's Family Nature Night program serves children with autism spectrum disorder or other sensory processing disorders. This program involves a fun night complete with light dinner, animal shows, and interactive stations geared toward children on the autism spectrum.
