    Our Mission: To provide children the opportunity to participate in organized/sanctioned AAU basketball year-round at an affordable cost, while at the same time teaching the importance of education, respect, teamwork, commitment and hard work.   • Abington Free Library - Children's Summer Quest Program
    Abington Free Library and Roslyn Branch Library invite children in preschool through entering grade six to participate in Summer Quest, an exciting summer reading program that includes hands-on learning activities. Each child will receive a reading/activity log that can be used to earn free books and prizes. Abington elementary school children will be able to register through school in mid-May through June 4; registration at the public libraries begins Friday, June 14.

  • Abington Free Library Doggone Good Readers Program
    Children who have completed grades 1-6 are invited to practice reading aloud in small groups to registered therapy dogs on two Saturdays--July 13 and August 3, 2019--at Abington Free Library. Two reading sessions--10:15-10:45 a.m. and 11:00-11:30 a.m.--will be offered on each date. Children may bring their own books or choose from a selection provided by the library. Online registration will begin on June 17 at abingtonfreelibrary.org and continue until the programs are full.

    The Township of Abington provides FREE lunch to any child 18 years old or younger. Meals are provided at Crestmont Park (2500 Old Welsh Road), directly across the street from the Willow Grove Mall. Meals must be eaten within Crestmont Park.
