  • Abington Free Library - Teen Craft Fairs
    Support local teen artists by purchasing a handmade item (or two, or three) at our Teen Craft Fairs. There will be something for everyone: paintings, crocheted items, jewelry, and more! Due to high demand we are having the Teen Craft Fair twice in July! Both dates will feature different artisans, so be sure to stop by on July 5 and July 19. Any student entering grades 6-12 is welcome to sign up to participate. The signup form will be open for submissions on June 1 at bit.ly/teen-craft-fair2025.

  • Celebrate Juneteenth at Woodmere!
    Join us on 6/19 at 3 pm for an outdoor celebration of Juneteenth with the exciting DIAMONDS Step Team of J.S. Jenks Academy of Art and Sciences. Students in grades 4-8 will honor the 1865 emancipation of enslaved African Americans with a lively dance performance that weaves the story of Juneteenth through songs of freedom and movement that expresses the joy of liberation.
