Attention, Attention, Attention, 8th grade students listen up.  The alternative sports club is sponsoring 2 evening trips to Bear Creek Mountain on Friday Jan 17th , and Thursday Feb 13th.  Please stop by room 326 and see Mr. Fogle or Room 126 and see Mr. Burke for forms and more information. Beginner packages are available for new skiers or snowboarders.  Don’t miss out on the fun.   Also, any 7th grade student that is an intermediate or advanced skier or snowboarder and has been skiing or snowboarding many times, stop by and see Mr. Fogle for information on attending the Bear Creek trips.  Hope to see you on the slopes this winter.

Have you ever watched those commercials about neglected and abused cats and dogs?  Do you ever wonder what you could do help?  The GSA is sponsoring a donation drive for the Philly SPCA all next week, December 9th through the 13th.  We need everything from newspapers and paper bags, to dog treats and toys.  Drop off your donation in the beginning of the day in the Science Wing or at any time in room 344.

 Would you like to work the business side of a musical production? We’re looking for students interested in ushering, ticket sales, concession sales, merchandise sales, lobby design, and program development. Those interested in joining the BUSINESS CREW for our production of MATILDA must complete the online application by Friday, December 13th. You can find the link through the School Musical Website. See Mrs. Daly in Room 228 with any questions.

Sign-ups have begun for our BRING IT ON event on January 10.

The cost is only $2,and you may sign up with Mr. Sandler in 357 , Mr. Durand in 319 or Ms. Bradley.

You can also place $2 in an envelope and place it in the mailbox in the TADA door (363A).

 Attention AJHS Pep Squad Invitees: 

If you were personally invited to participate on the Inaugural AJHS Pep Squad by Mrs. Wimberly or Ms. Stone in November, please go to Rm C-58 or Rm 149 at 8 AM with a handwritten note of interest.  You should have submitted your PIAA forms to the Nurses’ Office for clearance.  Also, bring a copy of your current grades for review.  We will see you this week to confirm your acceptance into this organization.  Thank you.

 THERE WILL BE A SCIENCE CLUB MEETING THIS THURSDAY (12/5) FROM 3:15 – 4:00 PM IN ROOM C62.
WE WILL BE ANALYZING SPECIMENS COLLECTED FROM OUR BAEDERWOOD HIKE (USING MICROSCOPES AND DISSECTING SCOPES).
WE WILL ALSO BE CREATING MORE PAPER AIRPLANES AND SLIME FOR THOSE STUDENTS WHO DIDN’T GET TO DO THOSE ACTIVITIES.

 The postponed 7/8th grade girls basketball game from Monday, 12/2 has been rescheduled for this Friday, 12/6 AWAY @ Upper Moreland, dismissal 2:06

 Attention History Club members!!!  The History Club will be meeting with Thomas Jefferson to learn about his life and role in the creation of our country.  We will meet with him from 9-10:15 AM on Wednesday, December 11 in the Little Theater.  In order to receive credit for attending this event, please print out the pass in Skyward, put your name on it and bring it with you to the event.  If you need a hard copy of the pass, please see Dr. Little in room 314.
